The Menstruation Research Network UK invites academics in the humanities, social sciences, medicine and the natural sciences as well as entrepreneurs, activists, creatives and policy-makers to our annual conference. Our focus this year is menstruation and sustainability, but presentations are welcome on all aspects of menstruation research, policy, art and activism.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Reusable menstrual products including product innovation
Waste, pollution, circularity, periodicity and toxicity in environmental and menstrual studies
Decarbonising menstrual practices and research: policies and innovation
Decolonising menstruation research and global menstrual studies
Public policy, period poverty, and sustainability
Menstruation, menarche and menopause in sport, politics, society, culture, art, history, literature, culture, medicine, law, work, health etc.
