The conference will take place at the Royal Docks Sustainability Centre located on the University of East London’s Docklands Campus, a vibrant waterfront setting equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to foster critical discussions and networking.

Travel & Transportation
Getting to the Venue:
🚆DLR (Docklands Light Railway):
The nearest station to the UEL Docklands Campus is Cyprus DLR, located directly adjacent to the campus and just a short walk from the conference venue.
🚇London Underground:
The Venue is well-connected via the Jubilee Line and the Elizabeth Line, with easy transfers to the DLR at Canning Town or Custom House.
🚌 Buses:
The campus is served by several bus routes, including 147, 474, and 101, providing connected from Stratford, Canning Town, and East Ham.
🚗 Car:
There is limited on-campus parking, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional public parking options are available nearby.
We strongly recommend using public transport where possible!

💳 Paying for Travel
London’s transport system is cashless, meaning you cannot pay with cash on buses, the Tube, DLR, or Overground. Instead, you can use:
- Contact debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Oyster card (Prepaid travel card)
🚌 Tapping In & Out
- When using the Tube, DLR, or Overground, you must tap in and out at the yellow card readers to ensure you are charged the correct fee.
- For buses, you only need to tap in once at the start of your journey – there is no need to tap out.
📄 Travel Receipts for Expense Claims
If you need proof of travel for reimbursement, you can register your card online to access and download receipts.

Arriving in London:
London is well-connected by train and air, with multiple transport options to reach the venue. While some airports and train stations may offer lower cost travel, they can also involve longer journey times, less frequent services, or additional transfer costs.
To avoid unexpected delays or extra costs. Firstly, please check your full journey in advance, including train or coach schedules, fare prices, and transfer times. Secondly, always allow extra time for potential delays, especially if travelling during peak hours or making multiple transfers.

Catering:
On both days of the conference, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks will be provided, Additionally, dinner will be provided on the first evening.
